Continuous Half Hour Airboat Tours

  • Do we need to make reservations?

No, our 1/2 hour airboat tour leaves every 30 minutes from the time the first person signs in. We do not take reservations for our 45 minute private ride or our 1/2 hour tour for groups smaller than 15 people. You can show up any time from 9:00 am- 5:00pm. <<Weather Permitting>>The ONLY tours that needs reservations is the Night Airboat Tours.

  • How old do you have to be to ride on the tours?

All ages are welcome on all tours. We do not have a minimum age or height requirement for our tours. A child under 2 can sit on your lap or ride beside you. They usually enjoy the ride, but some have a problem with the noise and/or wearing a life vest which is required for children under 6.

  • What is the best time to go?

The best chance of seeing alligators in the wild is on our one hour night airboat tour. This tour takes you out when the alligators are searching for food at night. They do not eat as much during the cold months so we do not have night tours from sometime in November to sometime in March. (Dates are completely weather based) Wildlife is most active in the morning, we advise that you arrive as close to 9:30am as possible in the warm months and between 11:00 am-2:00 pm in the cold months.

  • Is there a guarantee to see alligators?

We cannot guarantee to see alligators in the wild on the airboat tour’s. Our captains have many years of experience and are usually really good at finding them, but since they are in the wild each tour is unique and unpredictable. On the other hand we do offer a wildlife safari tour that not only takes you to see many animals in the wild; it also takes you to an alligator pit that has many alligators in it year round.

  • Do you provide life vests & hearing protection?

All our passengers are provided with hearing protection prior to riding on our airboat tours. Life vests can be found under the seat and in the front of the boat. Children 6 and under are required to wear a life vest.

  • Are the tours handicap accessible?

Both our locations have wheelchair access. Unfortunately, we are unable to have the wheelchair on the airboat so the passenger would need to be transferred from the wheelchair to the seat in the boat.

If any assistance is needed at all please let the front desk know upon purchase of your tickets and our staff would be more than happy to help in any way.
